Cecelia makes her painted papers first by collecting a variety of papers from book pages, maps, music sheets, brochures and notecards. Then she uses acrylic paints, a geli plate, stamps and stencils to paint the papers and create unusual and interesting textures and patterns. The vibrant colors and whimsical white lines help to capture her vision of the desert.
